Begin feeding SPORTMiX® Puppy Small Bites dry or moistened at three to four weeks of age or as soon as your puppy begins chewing on solid foods. To serve moistened, combine one and one half cups of SPORTMiX® Puppy Small Bites with one cup of warm water. Mix until well moistened and soft. Allow your puppy to eat 4 times a day for about 15 to 20 minutes until he reaches 3 months of age. From three to six months of age, feed your puppy all he will eat three times a day. Gradually reduce feedings to a single daily feeding from six months of age to a year. Use the chart above as a guide. Keep food available at all times for pregnant or lactating dogs. Food intake could increase 2 to 4 times during lactation. Remember, these amounts are averages and will vary depending on breed, size and activity of your puppy. Have clean fresh water available at all times.
